These terms replace any previous versions.

AFS refers to Adventures For Solo Travelers and Adventures For Singles Inc.—these are the same company.

AFS Travel Policies & Information

1. General Notes & Trip Tips

Please read the online Trip Tips for your specific trip. Our tours are built for group travel and making new friends.

We rotate seats on the bus and don’t allow smoking on board.
Trip prices depend on a minimum number of participants. If we don’t meet that minimum, pricing may change.
AFS can cancel or reschedule tours if needed.
You must be healthy enough for travel; travelers with disabilities should bring a companion.
We can refuse service to anyone we find disruptive.
You’re responsible for being on time for flights and activities. Missed portions aren’t reimbursed.
Paying your deposit means you accept all terms, including the cancellation policy.

2. Passports & Visas

You’re responsible for providing accurate passport info. Your passport must have at least two blank pages and be valid for at least six months after your trip ends.
If you miss a flight or get denied boarding due to documentation issues, there are no refunds.
All required visas are your responsibility. We offer guidance in Trip Tips, but do not process visas or passports for you.

3. Tour Documents

Daily itineraries are on our website through the trip. Trip Tips are emailed multiple times and tell you how to access updates.
Most tickets and documents are electronic. We’ll send you confirmation numbers once tickets are issued.

4. Air Travel (When Included)

AFS isn’t responsible for injuries, losses, delays, or cancellations related to air travel.
Confirm all flight times 24 hours before domestic and 72 hours before international departures.
Check in at least three hours before international flights.
Earning frequent flyer miles is up to the airline; AFS doesn’t guarantee miles or seat assignments.

5. What’s Included

Included: Sightseeing per the itinerary with English-speaking guides, group meals, entrance fees, deluxe motor coach travel, and accommodations.
Not included: Personal expenses (such as phone calls, WIFI, optional excursions, drinks, souvenirs), meals not listed, and certain gratuities.

6. Trip Deviations

We don’t assist with individual travel arrangements. If you request changes, your price may go up.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment—buy it within 14 to 21 days of your deposit.
Insurance can cover lost luggage, medical bills, interruptions, and emergencies. Some policies may not cover you abroad, so check carefully.

8. Accommodations

We aim to use the listed hotels, but substitutions may happen. Replacement hotels will be of similar quality.
Hotel rooms are assigned “run of the house” so room size, view, and location can vary.

9. Single Occupancy

If no roommate is available, you’ll be offered a single room for an extra fee. Not paying the supplement may result in a canceled reservation and full refund.

10. Land Prices

Land prices aren’t final until you’ve made your last payment. Currency changes may affect costs.

11. Health Issues

You must be in good health for group travel. Let us know about any conditions or disabilities when you book.
Tell us ASAP about dietary restrictions; accommodations vary by location.

12. Fitness Level

Our trips require moderate physical activity, including walking on uneven ground.
If you need special accommodations, let us know when booking to avoid issues.

13. Postponement

Guest safety is our top priority. Travel insurance is highly recommended, especially given changing travel advisories.

14. Moving Deposits

You can move your initial deposit to another available trip for a $50 fee. Only one transfer per year.

15. Responsibilities

AFS acts as an independent contractor; services come from individual suppliers.
We’ll send notices using your contact info; send any notices to the email we provide.

16. Jurisdiction, Validity, and Data Permissions

Any legal proceedings related to these terms must take place in Cobb County, Georgia. If any part of this agreement is found invalid, the rest will still apply.
Express permission is required for bots to extract or use any sensitive data, including photos, from our records or platforms. Without this express permission, no such data or images can be used against AFS in any way, including in legal proceedings. This applies specifically to the ownership and use of photos or other sensitive content.
